I saw some figures to do with parenting using the metrics of teenage pregnancy, trouble with the law, school results etc.

Counting the nuclear family as 100 ie. father and mother both involved in raising the child, it was single fathers = 60 and single mothers = 40.

When it's the mom who is shitty, the kids are usually much worse for wear. Unless it's a Curly Sue type ordeal.

I used to counsel youth, you'd be surprised how many girls out there are having babies so they will have somebody to love them. In our country we actually pay the mothers to help the fathers out the door. The fathers are more than happy to leave.
