Lol, sorry man, personal best, 8.1 oz

SE 7000 looks like it would be the one to go for in a 1.5m x 1.5m tent. I’m a light fiend so would be happy to go a bit over and have to option of dimming rather than not have my edges and corners lit probably. It would also be nice not to burn my hair every time I’m reaching over the screen to train the plants ??

That’s not as expensive as I thought. I’d need two but that would probably give a good output even running them at 50-80% to help them last longer. The energy savings is very attractive as it’s painful to see the meter shoot up every time the lights come on

I used parabolic reflectors with 600w hps in 4'x4'. Gave an even spread of light and lower temps. (IR doesn't bounce.)

For a 5'x5' space, those large footprint led seem good. Light from many directions for even illumination.

How are you going to do the scrog? I found scrogging difficult enough in a 4' deep tent with front access only.

I’m looking at buying the new bud box 1.5m x 1.5m tent which has access flaps on the sides which should mean I can get to three sides of the tent. I agree with front access only it’s a struggle even with a 4 x 4. I’ve got a good large parabolic reflector already which is an option should I choose to stick with hps but I find getting under it to train is nearly impossible with a 2m high tent. I’ve done it but it sucked. I’m pretty sure I can use a 1000w bulb in it but it would still mean a £250 ballast, £300-£400 water chiller (maybe) and whatever a massive 8-10 inch extractor and filter costs. If I choose led I think I can continue using the fans I’ve got which save a load of effort. Not sure what I’ll use as a screen as bud box don’t seem to make them anymore and the ones I have are for a 4 x 4ft tent but that’s not a major issue

I've always wondered if those are tuned to work in a square space despite the boards being positioned in a rectangle. Perhaps the tent walls spread it more evenly? Or are they angled?

    Cheers

    My 350R has a 5' x 3' flower foot print. So not square B.
I would suggest asking our sponsor about the new HLG BlackBird.
