Are these actually proven effective? Get solid reviews on $mazon but I want to know what you guys think. If there’s a noticeable difference and they last a couple grows, I may pick one up.

When i was growing in a tent i had one of these along with a co2 monitor.
Never seen anything that would make me ever buy them again.

Maybe different in a sealed room but if you have fans refreshing air i wouldnt bother

    V8
2ltr bottle with a hole in the center of the lid about the thickness of a pencil.

1.5ltrs of water (room temp), half a table spoon of yeast and 2 cups off sugar.

Yeast eats the sugar and produces co2 might last 2-3 weeks, gently shake up every couple of days then add sugar once you notice less activity.

If you want more co2 levels add more yeast.

Yeast will only activate at a certain temp so cold water won't work, also grow rooms are on the warm side so you will need to find a yeast that can handle higher temps.

I've forgot the name of the yeast now.

    Cheers

It's the by-product of brewing beer pal and Ive brewed some pretty lively beers firing airlocks across the room from the co2 pressure.

Wasn't nice cleaning stout of my white ceiling the last time many moons ago

To run co2 you really need a sealed room to get any real noticeable difference.
You need temps at or above 90f - 32c for the plants to use the extra.

Flick through harvest day pics, same lights, same strain, same everything. Only difference is whether or not they used co2 exhale bags.

Do you really believe that you will be able see a difference?

A lot of products have no other function than to make the grower feel better. Buy it if it makes you feel better.
