    Default black goo hash

i have been experimenting making bubble hash and my last batch of 25-73 micron came out very gunky, like a tar, and very dark.
it didn't start like that, but over time it has got darker and stickier. now i can barely handle it unless i put it in the fridge first, then i get about a minute to work what i need from it.
is this normal for 25-73 micron bubble? if not, what could i have done wrong?

    thanks

I've never had that before, I usually dry each bag in it's own area of a new pizza box. Then if I want squishy stuff I have to use some heat and pressure.

    hmmm interesting
i thought that maybe applying heat and pressure, then cooling might solve the problem but it didn't work, it seems to have came out the same.
maybe it was not dried enough or has absorbed some moisture?

I was wondering if it could have been a little too wet. It doesn't smell like mildew or anything does it?

I would think that would be normal from any hash taken from those size bags. JMO

Had the same thing... it's like sticky cat sh1t!

It is still holding a load of moisture that you need to get out of it.... this is the reason I gave up on bubble bags

This gram of hash from dry screen was black and guee, I press it and put it in the oven at 240 degrees for about 3 minutes, and now it is chucky.

    ah okay, thank you.
i think next time i will try full spectrum to maybe add a little structure from the bigger particles. i thought having the fine grade would be a nice treat, but working with that stuff outweighs the treat!
    thanks

lol yea exactly like that! damn cats!
i will spread it thin and try to dry it a little more. thank you.
i have had fun with bubble bags and most of my results came out nice so i will continue to learn the art. this will add to the learning process
what method do you use instead of bubble bags? i am thinking of trying other methods too, such as solvent method for getting every last drop of resin
