They are the recommended tent sizes. The chilled would still beat the HLG in a 5x3 and is amazing in a 4x2.

HLG are great lights, but ChilLED are another level imo.

Under a 4 bar migro you're lucky to get 2 plants and have them both flourish. With bar lights you need to be making the most of them with level canopy etc. If I had to have a room full of one or the other it would be Hlg. As for hot spots, or sweet spots every light has it's sweet spots, usually the middle. Not sure how that even came up as a negative point.
Look at the par map. Not very impressive, the drop off is shocking. I want more for £450.

How HLG recommend that for a 5 x 3 is beyond me.

I wouldn’t consider the migro array.

Ok mate. Be interestin to see them in action. I think the only light sellers on here are companies that make their own so you'd be better off googlin them or ordering direct if possible

I like HLG and Migro lights. They’re quality.

The X3 is perfect for what I want. I only have a 4x2 so I want to maximise that space.

If I had more space/height (loft) I’d buy a scorpion Diablo.

The HLG 350R uses Diablo boards.

The brief look I had at these chilled lights bought up only positive comments. Would genuinely like to see a grow done with em. I'll have a google about, usually you can find something. I've got a hodge podge of Invisible sun, Hlg and Migro aray

Wait, stop it. I didn't say that. I said that's how I'm reading it.

No need to string anyone up just yet.

edit to say, those lights are Billy Badass
Just wanted to say that HLG are not COB's. I see this being mentioned quite a bit and
thought I should point this out so folks aren't confused.

    Chip-on-board vs "quantum"

Quantum boards have chips on the boards but spaced out. COBs are packed tightly for a single beam.

    I misspoke:

OP stated that bar lights are superior to traditional "quantum" boards because they don't have as bad of a central hot spot.

    Cheers
