Some lovely trees again this year, but Deku's unique, non-traditional tree caught my eye this time around so my vote went to him

Thanks! I started with a Hungarian longbow. Went into the local archery shop for a new target and walked out with a Reign 7. Felt how smooth the pull was and quiet the release was and it was over. Bought my son his first bow last Christmas but he’s not quite big enough for it yet. Missed deer season this year due to new baby and job but looking forward to spring gobbler

My sister just bought my 11 year old a bow for Christmas. I feel just terrible for my neighbors. So now I have to learn how to use a modern bow, I reckon. Hate to sound like my father but "back in my day the bows had 2 pieces and the targets lasted for years because you never hit em!".

Yeah man, that thing make Rambo look like a bitch-man. Hope you've put a ton of meat in the freezer with that guy.

    Cheers
    B

Only thing i can say is make sure you build something resembling a back stop and buy a good target. These modern bows are no joke, mine consistently shoots 300+ fps and its 3 years old. They release new models every year shooting faster and faster. Im assuming that she bought him a youth bow, so obviously it will be slower, just don’t underestimate them lol
