Default When do seedlings go under lights?

Hi lads, I’ve got 5 seeds. Soaked them in water for 24 hours, then had them in tissue for a further 48 hours. Tap roots have popped out and I’ve put them into rock wool in a humidity dome.

Do I now leave them in darkness or do i put them in the tent underneath the lights?

    Cheers

under the lights fella, seeds use gravity underground to know which way is up the second they break thru they use the light to orientate

They also need warmth which the lights will provide

I'd only leave them on water 12 hours in future or until they sink then light straight away

Presuming they should be on the lowest light setting? I’ve got a 600w lumi bulb, variable switch settings are 600w, 400w and 250w. Presuming it should be on 250w to start?

And how close to I want the light to them? M

Also do they need 24 hours of light to start with? Or do they want 18/6?

    Cheers

Im no hps guy so I know nothing about heights. I do know that you will be fine with whatever light option you choose.
18/6, 20/4 and 24/0. What Kind of seeds are they? Autos or photos?

They’re photos bud. Don’t wanna have the lights so close that they burn, and don’t wanna have them too far away that they stretch

You can always move the light closer if they stretch, you can't unburn them

That's a good question on seedlings under a 250w bulb. I'll be there soon with a 250w MH bulb.
I'm guessing about 15"-16" to start?
