I have not done a grow for over a year and I genuinely can’t remember how I used to use this. I know it wasn’t the recommended dose on the bottle. It was less and for a longer period.

Just wondered how others use it?

There are a few different ways to use pk through flower but the easiest way for a beginner is to use it in the following amounts during the flower period.

Week 4 - 7.5ml per 10L
Week 5 - 10ml per 10L
Week 6 - 12ml per 10L or full strength

Bare in mind high amounts of phosphorus can have a detrimental effect on plants. Go easy with it.

I’ve got a 5lt bottle and 2 empties up stairs.

Can’t believe I can’t remember. Must be getting old.

(Stoner question and explanation incoming)

Do you have to adjust your EC to accommodate the PK?

If I was feeding A&B say at 1.6EC and introduced PK and it put my EC upto 2.0,would you just adjust your feed down 1.2 so when you have added PK it will be at 1.6?

Or carry on with what ever EC you was at and add the PK on top regardless of what final EC is?

yes you need to adjust.

The PK counts towards EC so you make a lower strength initial feed with A+B to compensate then add the pk to bring it up to your required feed level

I've always just added 4ml/gallon along with my regular feed whenever I use it,never seen any bad effects from it.

For me the only difference is for autos I start in week 3 and stop using when the buds stop putting on weight.

...and definitely adjust your EC.
