    Default How many lights do I need in my room

    My mate has a 1.5m x 1.5m x 1.8m tent. He's wondering how many lights he needs to be running this size tent with 8 plants
    Hes currently using hps and wants to keep that.

    If he wanted to stay with HPS he could probably cover that entire tent with 1,000 w hid and a parabolic reflector.

    I grew 6 under 1000w in a similar sized room (1.5x1.2) got good results but the heat was a pain in the arse so upgraded to a xxxl cool hood solved that issue.

    You will need a large reflector to cover that area or run 2x 600w side by side.

    Either way a good amount of heat will be produced
