    Default Cannabis tax

Any thing cannabis related always carries a premium, but anything to do with processing is hilarious overpriced.

Trimmers being by far the worst.

The argument that they save ££££’s for commercial growers is ridiculous. That is not how products should be priced. If everything was priced like this how much would a truck be?

The un heated tumble dryers that cost $1000’s I don’t even bother looking at, but even cheaper home grow options are ridiculously priced.

Surely there are Chinese copies available?

These both made me smile. A £300 bag and a $530 hand cranked tumbler that cost probably $20-30 per unit to manufacture.

Did anybody buy one of the "basting" trim brushes?

You can buy a automated 3 kg rock tumbler (I had no idea what this was 10 mins ago) for $100.

That is designed to tumble rocks and pebbles smooth rather than deal with light weight bud.

In sure I could replace the plastic barrel they have with a diy version of “toms tumbler”.

    The bag is ridiculous.

I’m pretty sure a could make a version of that tumbler with a old large carbon filter and some pvc pipe.

I have a mate out in Cali who does 50 plant runs & he uses a trim bag. He says it works well, but at the same time it’s not like a single person can hand trim all thatthat lot.

If you’re yielding so much you’re struggling to hand trim it & the trim bag can do an acceptable job with a lot less time & effort I don’t think the cost is too outrageous (provided it’s not just a backpack with fancy marketing ).

I’ll see if my mate can send pics of the final trim bag product (I’ve always been skeptical as a lot of those tumbler style units, look like they’re designed to beat the shit out of all your hard work).

I actually heard decent things but couldn't bring myself to spend the money. It only works if your flower is very dry from what I read

I’m going to build a “Triminator”. Pricing is even crazier than the Trimbag.

The Triminator mini is £4000 with the Kief attachment. They would still make a healthy profit at £400.

I’ve got a treadmill to tear down for the motor and control board. Going to go to work on a large carbon filter with a dremel for the drum.

Kicking myself because I threw a huge spent carbon filter away about a month ago.
