    Default Waste pipes

Surely the plumbing business isn't as backwards as it appears & I am just missing something...

    But...

How do I join push fit pipe to solvent weld pipe? (without using a compression joint) - surely there is a connector that pushes one end & welds the other?

    Not really

I want to join 32mm pushfit to 32mm solvent weld... but a compression joint would look too out of place

Can you show the two end pieces or is it yet to be acquired? I'm headed to the hardware store after I finish this J lol.

    Push fit

    Solvent weld

The difference is in the type of plastic & the outside diameter (FFS!) 32mm v 36m - yet both classed as 32mm FFS!)

The push fit, you can't use solvent weld as the plastic is 'wrong' for that & the solvent pipe is a little too large for the push fit joiners

Yeah that's a doozy. I'm sure that wrong plastic can safely bind to something of not the weld. Maybe a different adhesive? Sorry. Just spit balling I suppose.
