Default Looking for a Decent Rosin Press

Hey guys, any suggestions? Looking to spend less that 500, ideally quite a lot less lol. Would rather wait and save more if they're all trash at that price if you know what I mean...

    Cheers!

Both @Deku Nut and I were looking at the DabPress and both of us wound up with Dulyteks. His is a 5 and mine is a 7 ton.

I've had a really good time squishing my buds into rosin. But it seems we've had 2 different experiences with this particular press.

While he's having a grand time (and making some mouth watering crystal clear dabs), my unit whines when it heats up and the 7ton jack needs to be replaced after a few months. Calling the shop or emailing doesn't warrant much response so I'm on to it without their consultation. Probably won't matter; 30 day warranty. Up to 12 tons we go

It's fantastic for what it does, I may have caught a lemon, and YMMV. I think I'm going to go with my initial gut and pick up a DabPress when it's time to replace this one. If money were no issue, NugSmasher would be my choice.

    Cheers,
    B

If I knew how to put together the heating element side of it then I’d happily make one, being a machinist. But I know absolutely nothing about electrics lol

Haha I'm the same, if I could find detailed instructions that assumed no prior knowledge, I could smash it out the park

Anyone used or heard anything about devilpress?

I’ve had a look at davilpress, but it just seems to be very overpriced. I priced up the Dulytek 5 ton as Barney B mentioned, and I think with shipping here to the uk it comes to about £370 so I think that’s what I’m going to get.

I would have gone with dabpress but unfortunately they don’t ship
