Thumbs up My first time organic from a hydro convert

    Hello gang,

So bit of background. I've not posted in a while and as you will see from my other post on this forum I am normally an NFT grower. After 10 + years I felt like a change and set myself a challenge. This is not only my first full organic (well I guess the sun part isn't real so not 100% organic) but my first autoflower and my first grow in my new tent and light set up i.e the big scary test run. I had a leftover auto flower from herbies which I believe is a gorilla glue auto. I've fed her only 1.5lt of non-ph'ed water straight up from the tap with a couple of drops of ecothrive neutraliser, also the living soil is from eco thrive and I've used their topdressing every 2 weeks but just a few spoon fulls. I have to say so far I'm quite impressed. It's not bulking up like NFT but it smells delightful and at an educated guess if I was growing normal seeds not auto you could veg for longer and get a very impressive grow from this method. So I got some mimosa x orange fem's to try next. I can't report any issues apart from me topping before reading not to top autos ... but she enjoyed being tied down a few bugs but apart from that it's been really plain sailing so far I think I'm a couple of weeks off and any auto heads who read this please chip in. I have to say I think I'm a convert to the organics.

    Hi, welcome back.

imo, autos can be controlled as well as photos once its characteristics are known. The number of plants, size of pots and amount of training can be adjusted to give a full canopy.

Hey, looks good, I am also trying ecothrive soil for the first time, I was also not, then went to soil via bio bizz etc and am now trying living soil approach. Good luck with the rest of your grow!
