Welcome back. I've been running soil for a couple of year now, "mostly organic". Younger plants are potted into biobizz light mix and final pot up is into house and garden bat special.
I've been using biobizz fishmix and bloom for the main nutrients, still supplements, but Im not against usig mineral boosters, mainly evoponic pk bulk and whichever Cal and mag supplements I have to hand, late stage is always canna mono calcium though, it gives a better burning than running the magnesium to the end.
I also use beneficial bacteria, namely the nutrient company bactorr s13 a few times a week, to keep the soil microbiology stocked up, it's very cost effective.
I also pH my inputs, every time, to 6 to 6.2, as the inputs can vary wildly in pH and though it's said that the soil "adjusts pH", I think that for the sake of a few mins that not pH ing is asking for trouble. Been there and done that a long time ago, when a new input, a seaweed was really knocking the pH to values that it couldn't adjust
When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all.

I do soil and also adjust pH input simply for peace of mind. Soil does have a cap on its buffering ability if not maintained or replaced. I don't have a target pH value but shoot for a feed pH of between 6.2 and 6.4. I often mix my own nutrient elixirs and if unadjusted my pH might vary anywhere from below pH 5 to above pH 7.

Same here mate. Afaik the soil is capable of reducing ph by production of carbonic acids, but raising Ph is more difficult.
Makes more sense just to pH your inputs that leave it to guess work

    I've pH'd and I haven't pH'd and what I learned is that I smoked both of them.

Cheers from a blissful head high.

One thing I did leave out is that all throughout the grow I've had a heat mat on under the fabric pot. My temps have been great using a mix of an automatic thermostat (from the big river shop online) to turn an oil heater on and off at 21 and 25 and a great cheap and cheerful little intake fan from the same place. Outtake ruck and carbon filter which i left off most of the grow apart from the last few weeks.

How has the additional heat in the tent affected your humidity? Any issues chasing your VPD?

    Cheers

No issues at all, But on that subject, i got a "govee" Bluetooth indoor thermometer that gives me temp, RH, Dew point and VPD readings for £12! highly recommend it (also no account sign up needed)
