Maybe a loope x30 - x60 to look at trichomes when she is nearing the end? So you know when to harvest? Some LST wire for training?

What can come in handy is a EC, ppm and ph meter. These can be found from 5 dollar to 500. I use vivosun

^^^ You really should use a contactor like Bethmeg mentions. The light will weld a timer together.

With a 600w hps in 4'x4', I'd take even the basic Euro reflector over a Cooltube. When the Cooltube came out, hps was a lot hotter than it is now. With a decent extractor fan, no need for Cooltubes now imo.

The item that gets changed least often is the extractor fan, so start with the best. For 4'x4', that's an AC Infinity S6. Quieter and less wattage than a 6" rvk, more power too if needed. Comes with a built in speed control. Works out cheaper than a 6" rvk with a good quality speed controller.

If the budget doesn't run to an S6, savings can be made by getting an entry level 600w hps with magnetic ballast. You won't be using the hps for long so might as well go cheap. As soon as your savings build up because no more dealer weed, you'll be pondering hard on which led to get and your hps will end up gathering dust.

The Maxibright timers have a built in contactor and are good for up to 600w. You can run the hps 24/0 with autos. You won't like the leccy bill but 24/0 will have them finish quicker and you can say bye bye dealer earlier.

You'll need something below your pots... a saucer, tray or something else...

I'd go with larger pots, 25 litres so 2 bags of soil. Fabric pots are the best. Get a good pH meter too, bluelab, saves any issues down the road if you're certain of your input pH. Also the parabolic reflectors with vertical bulbs would be a good choice, sunkings I used to use, vented at the top so you can run ducting to the top of the reflector and draw heat from the bulb without needed a proper air cooled hood
When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all.
