If 10 weeks becomes 12 weeks, then the trained plant needs to yield 20% more to break even.

At a break even yield, it's down to the cost of running the groom an extra 2 weeks and the cost of an extra seed or 2 for the untrained 10 week grow.

I enjoy evaluating the costs angle and don't take it too seriously. If the lazy option saves a penny, it all helps. If the more effort option saves a quid, nah, I'd rather have the convenience.

So long as you are growing a healthy plant I think this constant tie down and high defoliation method is very effective for most growers wants.

Is it a method for everyone? I doubt it. Too much work! Too unconventional.

Some growers may feel this is all too much, and to just grow and have fun with your plants!..and although I agree to a certain extent, it is, however, interesting to the know the results of some of these 'tests' for many of us too, and perhaps even useful for some growers

There was a member here called Jumper114, he loved autos..specifically Mephisto strains and was always looking to push their limits, he also did some side by side comparisons and determined that he could delay autos flowering with extreme LST/HST, he had this chat with Stan from Mephisto who agreed that it looked to be possible (If I remember correctly).
