Lightbulb Cheap blurble leds vr "proper leds"

Hi all fellow growers! So I've been using cheap Chinese blurble leds for couple grows now. I have 3 x 200w leds that were 80€ (90usd) each. So total of 600w of power draw from wall. I also have used 6 liter (1.6 gallon) pots and growing mainly Northern Lights autoflower. I've usually gotten around 20-25 grams per plant. So my question is, can I expect a big difference if I invest for "proper grow leds" with budget of 900€ (1000usd) or would the upgrade be miniscule? I'm pretty new with leds and have used HPS in the past with really good results, but I can't use HPS anymore. Thank you kindly ^^

Tent is 4x4 (1.2x1.2) and I've been growing 6 to 8 at a time. I'm almost ready to invest in better lights, but I'm just not sure if the cheap leds are the issue or not. Or maybe because I'm not used to autoflower either. But autoflower just seemed so easy and FAST (9 weeks from seed to harvest for last two times). I'm just wondering if anyone else here has experience with "cheap leds" so they could compare it to "proper leds" to know if the investment is worth it or if it would increase just like 20% or so..

Here is 4 Golden Nugget I grew in A 4'x4'x6.5'. I was able to pull 20oz from this under A 500Watt White LED, so I would say you wouldn't be waisting your money. Check with some of our sponsors, and see what they recomened for you. You can buy the best of the best with A 1,000 bucks. These are photos, I don't do Auto's.

25g per plant is low, your light is deffo hurting your yield.

I also use a 4x4 and I run 2 HLG quantum boards 260 watt each (usually dimmed to 50% each for 250-300watts total in the tent), grow 2 plants at a time and can pull 300+g from 2 medium plants and 600+g from 2 larger ones.

Invest right and they will last you a long time and pay for themselves many many times over in end product.

There are several great light brands around, IMO HLG are the best but there are many brands that will serve you well. Have a look through our sponsors for some ideas.

I would up the pot size. 6, 3gals or even 5. Bigger pot = bigger rootzone = bigger plant = more yield = you beeing very happy

If you combind that with a propper light you are not looking at a 20% increase but maybe 50-100%. Ofc enviroment and propper training play a huge role 2.

This light from SpiderFarmer would fit nice

If you are looking to rly fill the tent wall 2 wall a bigger light would be better. You can hang it higher so the light spread is better. Center par should be ish 1000 at max.

Here is A diary where I grew with A cheap China light. It is called A bloom buster. 222W from wall. This is A Photo. To answer your question, you can grow good weed with cheap china lights if conditions and training are right.

Light is one of the things that directly plant yields because of its importance of photosynthesis. It directly effects yield. Upgrade light-upgrade yield.

I'm expecting 7+ ounces from this Cinderella Jock, and she is under.. wait for it... cheap blurple lights.
Not all lights are made equally, it really depends on how much the manufacturer fibs about there products specs, my two lights are listed as "1000w" when in reality they are 220W, you may want to check your lights and see if 200w is its "true" output. IMO most of the hate towards blurple comes from how hard it is to identify issues such as a deficiency due to the blurple light making it difficult to see, other than that I can't find any big faults with them.(Besides the fact that they are inefficient with their power usage, produce an absurd amount of heat, and are irritating to the eye)
I do have full spectrum lights in my other tents, and I do consider them an upgrade, (after all, the plants are easier to see) it is worth buying a trusted branded light fixture just for the fact that there output is likely to be alot closer to what they say it is, better lights are also more efficient with their energy usage making them do more for less.
As already stated check out our sponsors, I'm enjoying my new Spiderfarmer light, its well built and very bright, I can also 100% suggest MedicGrow as I absolutely love my EZ-8 led from them.
    Good luck.

    Huge Difference. Massive

With that kind of budget, you're looking at TOP tier lights. You're definitely going to want to get some bigger pots/bags. 3 gallon is my preference. Some would argue 5 gallons would be easier to maintain.

Either way, hello bigger pots and brighter light, goodbye <1oz plants.

    Cheers
