Lost a few panes in the greenhouse on the allotment with these terrible winds.
But been given a very large one for free and will be erecting that when the weather gets better.
Probably give the cucumbers a miss this year, had far too many last year.
Will be googling cucamelon though, sounds very interesting it does

Chillies need about 6 hours dark & will cope with pretty much as much light as you throw at them... they also love the corner of a grow roo across winter

Nice one mate, so do they just flower after so much time or is it like bud where it needs the dark to flip?

They flower when they are mature mate... a little in the same ways that autos don't need any changes

Chilli plants seem to be coping under the same lights as the autos. No idea what to expect from them grow wise. One needs propping up but they both look healthy Click image for larger version.

I didn't plant any fresh chillies from seed this year, however I've got these which have been over wintered and on their 3rd season...Bit neglected could do with a feed but otherwise doing ok....

Always enjoy the colours from chilli plants, they can put out a lovely splash of colour in the garden...do you make any sauces/pickle them from the harvest, or just use them freshly cut Bud?
