Put a towel over your hot water tank (if you have 1) and put the seeds on a plate on it

Soak beans in a glass of water for a day then next day straight into 0.5L pot with Biobizz which you made damp by watering a few hours ago, plant the beans half inch deep only, then under a dome spray the dome every 12 hours. Rarely have a no show.

I havent been sure about the soaking in water 1st as i have heard you can over soak seeds?
I might give it a go next time as i like to experiment
Im really heavy handed so the paper towel method for me is to much of a risk.
So i use root riot cubes, they are pre soaked so i just pop the seed in the hole a few mm then put into heated dome with a little water on the bottom(to keep things damp) + cover with towel.
It usually it takes 2-3 days for them to pop. (i would say 90% success rate, thats why i always put a few extra in)
This time ive put them directly into the big pots to see if i can skip the pot size changing farse!
Im here to learn so please let me know anything you think im doing wrong or tips etc

It's not been that long and I'm already using a different method.

    Search Term: Dutch Passion Germination

Basically the paper towel method but with round cotton makeup removal pads. 100% since I've been using this method including a few tests that went nowhere.

    Hope that doesn't jinx it.

Goes from water to coco for me. Used to use paper towels but kept forgetting about them. So my success rate has improved I guess

I’m going to jinx this but I’ve had 100% success rate

Tap water in a cup leave for 24hrs to get to room temp, soak seeds in the water for 24hrs. I then use two cotton makeup removal pads place seeds on give each pad six sprays of water and place the pads in a bag and in my wardrobe. 2days later pop!!

    Thanks frosty

So many dif methods + thx for all your replys.
I only use feminised seeds + never used autos.
Is there any dif in germination between them?

My preference is to germinate autos directly in their final pot. If using soil, make a cone space in center to fill with light starting soil and leave the rest of the container with the good hot soil. This allows the plant to find her legs in the light stuff and not get burnt.

For photos I prefer to germ in a 2 inch pot. Then transplant in stages as she grows. I think we get a stronger root structure this way. I dont always do this. When I'm lazy I go straight to finishing pot and still get a quality yield and smoke.
