Default Residue pollen after growing for seeds?

I'm toying with the idea of breeding some regular seeds. I'm not looking for the next killer strain. I'd like to have a stash of throwaway seeds that I can experiment with wrt germination and the like. It will be 4 or 5 regulars grown together and left to do their thing.

My concern is having stray pollen floating round on the grows after that. Having a few seeds once in a while would be acceptable. What I don't want is for any yield grows to get heavily seeded.

Are there any standard precautions? Wash the walls, have the extractor fan at 100% etc.

I'm sure others with far more knowledge in the subject will chime in shortly, but if I am remembering correctly, pollen doesn't have a long period of viability. You should just be able to do a grow with your males/hermies and do a normal wipe down afterwards without much fear of continued pollination.

Watch your clothing if you run 2 tents,it's easy to transfer pollen between the tents via clothing.
I done my seed grows in my garage last summer to keep the pollen out of the house for safety, but like Deku says above a standard spray down should be fine pollen doesn't like getting wet and it doesn't last long.

    Water kills pollen

When I had a play at breeding, I took them outside, shuck the male over the female, left it 10 mins & then hosed her down with a heavy mist before returning her to her sister upstairs. I got the result I was after

    Thanks all.

A wipe down it is then. Pencilled in for early next year.
