Interesting comment from YT:
Cool episode! Have to disagree with the par intensity with auto's. In my experience and through studying the most scientific books on cannabis, it depends on genotype ie pure Sativa pheno's can eat up the most intense par, then sativa dominant (for all the auto growers) then 50/50's onto then indica hybrids, indica dominant and lastly ruderalis dominant which grow in the coldest and dimmest sunlight. It really has nothing to do with photoperiods but with the DNA of the strain!
Short answer: Fuck knows I need to listen back to it & take notes.
Pick a ball park to start with & go from there. Depending on the strain & how it reacts (studying what light stress looks like is probably a good idea too).
"Listen to the plants" (learn to speak their language).

So much of growing comes down to that same shit: Read the plants, adjust, adapt. Guess it's like everything else; Learn the basics, develop from there.
I guess having the baseline understanding is the most important. Hell, I bet 90% of the learning curve with LEDs is just turning the damned things down!
The sativa/indica comment, that's easy to test. I just don't wanna.
Cheers
