I could be persuaded to call it a draw, BUT! Do you guys know how many Mars Hydro spammers we get here? Something our Admin could do without! That's right, they seem to even pay spammers

I could never indulge with Mars - The same people/rep actually threatened a customer with telling "authorities" where they lived and what they were up to (in Mars heads anyway). The reason that Mars rep made the threat ? Customer was pissed at something like 8 out of 10 lights they had bought were dead on arrival and they did not fancy taking them apart and self soldering them. Sarah or something....like a dog with a bone. If they got their shit together there is zero reason why they could not be a player in the game....But TBH with the above story well known in the community and not the only case either I wouldn't touch them even if they invented the best product on earth. They would have to change their name to even get a penny from me and it would only happen if I didn't know who they were.

I know they are supposed to have a bad reputation for customer care but when I first started out and purchased a little Mars Ts1000, it performed brilliantly and got my first grow under my belt for not alot of money (£90) and it's still going now after a couple of years.
Was great for a total novice starting out with a small budget.

With what I saved on not paying £400 a month on shit street weed allowed me to upgrade to a HLG.

I got one complete grow out of my Mars II lights before some of the LEDs burnt out and one of the power supplies melted inside the light. These days, why not buy lights that are UL approved? Something that's known to be safe to operate, used by commercial growers. The best light purchase I've ever made are my lumi grow pro 325s, they are considered old tech now. But at 300 wall Watts putting out as much light as a thousand watt HID in a 3x3 footprint, ain't bad.
