    Default questions about bubble hash

i have made bubble hash 3 times now with varied results, but in general the result is a block that i can pick a chunk off from and crumble directly with my fingers without heating or anything. is that normal for bubble hash? it is convenient, but i wonder if i am not pressing it enough.

my latest blob is sitting in a very small jar curing. the jar is not much bigger than the block itself. every day condensation builds up inside the jar and is released when i burp the jar. is this because the jar is so small or is this more likely to be under dried? as i said above, it is dry and crumbly to touch, but there must still be some water content in there to be able to build up condensation.

so to reiterate, my questions are:

    1. is it normal for bubble hash to crumble this way without heating?

    2. does my hash need drying more?

    thank you for the help

I sift kief and press little hash bars sometimes, it always crumbles without burning. I'm gonna be experimenting at some point with warming it and pressin it for harder and longer, I'm lookin for a sort of sticky dutch coffee shop consistency

do you have any tips for drying the block further? can i just leave it out to dry as a block or do i need to press it flat or grate it up again?

    thank you.
i used the frenchie method to press this time, using a glass jar full of hot water as a rolling pin. last time i heated the block in boiling water then pressed it between two boards and the time before that i used hair straighteners. the hair straighteners were the only solution that gave me a hard block that needed melting (so far) and it is the least convenient method, but i'm sure it is just me that needs practice with other methods.

    thank you for the info.

I would press it flat, and let it dry under A light breeze. JMO

thank you, i will do that.
i had a small blob in a piece of cling film for a few days and i have just opened it and can see that it is still 100% too wet.
i will do that and re-press and see how it goes from there.

    thanks
