    You haven't grown many auto's then!
    Almost all my auto's have had dense nuggets,not very leafy at all,and my Hubabubahaze smells absolutely amazing right now with large solid nuggets.

    Sorry bud, I'm gonna have to say that's not always the case (in my opinion)..sure it can happen, but that's also true for photos. Sure a great photo grow can be hard to beat but autos have come a long way, they used to be lacking on a genetic level, with the exception of a few, now we're flooded with quality autos.

    Of course you're entitled to your opinion and I'm not attacking you at all, just giving you my perspective

    Here were some bud shots from my last grow (auto) ..they were super dense and just covered with frost ;

    I grew autos for 4 and a half years and they where always very big airy leafy nugs. I only switched to photos when I saw my friends first grow with photos and Seen the difference for my self.

    My recent photo was leafy- airy but still a fantastic smoke.Last 4 autos been rock hard, potent nugs so I think its swings and roundabouts as far as potency,quality.
    In my opinion unless your looking for bag appeal 8oz of leafy bud covered in trichs with 24% thc smokes pretty much the same as 8oz of solid nugs with 24% thc lol.
    Different opinions and methods is why this forum is so good.
    I love them both for different reasons.
    Cheers Nugz

    That's why i stopped growing autos when you see the difference in bud quality in your purple bud compared to Lewis's one it's like night and day.

    I thought "quality" meant trichome production. Quality > Quantity. My apologies if I misrepresented you.

    Cheers
