Thread: Your favourite Auto/Photo strain

  1. Default Your favourite Auto/Photo strain

From time to time we come across a strain that really stands out in our mind, whether it be because of how easy she was to grow, the look and structure, incredible yields or simply because of the high.

Perhaps even a combo of these reasons, or one that I haven't mentioned..

I'm sure we've had many threads like this in the past, but it's 2022.. so share with us the strain that has stood out for you and why, if you have more than one..then feel free to list them!

    Strains that have stood out for me ;

    Auto

White Crack by Mephisto, she was a pure joy to grow..was not fussy at all, adapted to fluctuations in her enviroment like a champ, wasn't sensitive with nutes and she had the most beautiful fade I've ever grown.

Pina Auto R BX2 by Ethos, Took my breath away with how frosty she was, I'd never ever grown anything like her before in terms of trichomes..but boy was she a pain in the arse to grow! lol.

Lowryder #2 by Joint Doctor, An older auto..she belongs in my list because of her high, it was like getting slapped around the mush with a soaring high and giggles, then later on slapped into the couch for some good munchies, unable to move lol.

    Photoperiods

Nothern Lights by Sensi Seeds, a firm favourite from me, and sure she stinks to high heaven..so make sure you have a good carbon filter!..but her high is a classic for me.

White Widow by Green House Seed Company, love this girl for the 'combo', nice plant to grow, wasn't too fussy with me and a great high.

    Some of mine have been:

Autos- HSO Blue Dream, Lovely taste and a high that makes you want to smoke her everyday. Have 2x seeds left and hope to use them to make some seeds in the near future.

Nirvana's Amnesia Haze, nice citrusy, kind of lemon flavor with a soaring high. I have 3x Seedsman AH that I just started. Look forward to seeing the difference.

Scottish Passion bred by Zen Archer, Great yielder, wonderful flavor and also a great rosin producer.

Sweet Seeds, Dark Devil, not the biggest producer but the aroma and taste is spectacular. Strong hints of coffee and chocolate with a good cure.

Photos- Nirvana's White Castle, Really nice high and the best for nausea I have ever found.

TGA's Ace of Spades, I was lucky enough to get a pheno the breeder Subcool called Black Cherry Soda. It was the first purple plant I grew in 2011.
Beautiful shades of pinks and purple. Maybe the frostiest plant I've ever grown. Kept a mother for 4 years and always grew at least one every grow.

So let's hear some of yours fellow Talker's.

Nice lists so far, for me it's these

    Autos

Fastbuds - Orange sherbet - Always a frosty stinker, smell and taste both improve greatly with age

Bongo bulk - Tangie diesel - lovely gassy smell/taste

Dutch passion - White widow - This was my biggest yielder, big fat frosty dense buds that taste like heaven, probably..maybe

    Photos

Barneys farm - Liberty haze - taste and smell like no other, heavy frost and boulder like buds

Anesia seeds - Future #1 - light gorilla/fruity smell, strong and handles training really well

Cream of the crop - Gorilla lemon fire - Smelly, tasty, strong as an ox, summer day smoke for sure, pure citrus blast

Can't say for sure if I have ever smoke anything better than White LSD Photo, but some of the Black Strains are very close.
