O it is A lot easer. Thing about measuring is you start with smaller amount, lets say only 30mg. Try one at that strength, then if stone isn't strong enough, just increase amount by 10mg until you get what you are conformable with. That being said, my last batch was over whelming at 115mg. I was very un conformable with that stone, so I cut it down to 90mg. It is hard to get it just right first time, so better to start out small work your way up. Sure, will be glad to assist in any way I can. Good luck and happy growing.

Straining cannabutter is a yucky greasy job. With my first go at cannabutter, I didn't even attempt to clean the muslin bag, I binned it.

The bud/trim overnights in a slow cooker on low. Half a mug of water added to stop the butter burning. I then use a potato ricer to squeeze out the butter. The vegetable matter forms a solid puck, making it easy to bin. Still a bit greasy although nowhere near as bad as hand squeezing a muslin bag.

Much as I enjoy the effects of cannabutter, I don't like the taste. For future batches, I'll water cure the bud/trim first.

I had a bash at cannabutter last year and I went for the squeezing cloth method and yeah mate I agree it’s a shitty slippy yacky job, (which is why I asked if I could just decarb and then shot that straight in the mix and make cake, (I don’t mind a bit of herb in my teeth lmao, I used slow cooker, didn’t really work out as I used some trim, stalk and stems as a last minute thought just to try, it didn’t really work (I don’t think) I tried a smidge on toast and the rest sat sealed in the fridge for weeks until it went in the bin as it honestly tasted like arse, that’s why I’m gonna try a cake this time lmao, something (HOPEFULLY) edible lol

If you have enough bud/trim to not mind being a bit wasteful, the thc will dissolve in full fat milk if you can handle 15 minutes of tedium.

Use water cured bud/trim if possible or there will be some arse taste. One or two cups of full fat milk in a pan, low heat on the stove, keep stirring with a fork for 15 minutes. (Don't let the milk boil.) Pour through a coffee filter.

If not water cured, the taste can be disguised with either instant coffee or hot chocolate powder. If the taste is still yuk, down it in one.

I would suggest to decarb the weed before adding it to the milk.

Here is a link to the recipe.
