Default best way to hang/affix an inline fan (infinity s6)

ive had to purchase a new fan, decided on the S6 after reading the threads on here. Im after a bit of advice as to the best way to hang the unit and also will it need boxing to reduce noise? i made a crappy insulated box for my last cheap fan which bkept the noise down.would like to know if its neccesary to box this fan? (im guessing no as it has a nice low db value.
Withb regards to hanging , i saw a youtube vid where the fan was screwed to a stretcher board and that was then held in place by the ceiling bars . im after the best way to dampen any noise as my tent is almost next to the wall between my neighbours and my bedroom.

Hi mate. I have just used the straps + a bungee cord. That takes most of the vibration

I doubt that you'll need to box it in. At full pelt it's only 32db. The average 4" bathroom fart fan is 45db. A 3db rise means double the amount of noise. So at full speed, the S6 has one sixteenth the noise of a bathroom fart fan.

I tried to find the db rating of an rvk 150 L1. No mention of the db rating that I could find during a quick search. The db used to be quoted as part of the rvk specs but they were the quietest fans back then.

With a 8' ceiling in my office where the tent is and the tent being 7' 11" tall I tossed my T6 on top of my tent with a short piece of 6" flex duct with the blower exhausting into the carbon filter when installed. Right now there is no need for the carbon filter to be used. With the girls being in veg no need for the filter. And all one can hear is the sound of air moving. No harmonics, buzzing, whistling or other noises. Just a gentle whooooooosh. Yesterday was it's most challenging day to date. Outside air temp went to 81f with high humidity as we had our first round of many Okiehoma spring storms last night. I set the AC Infinity controller to a fan max speed of setting 3 and that kept the tent temps under control. This morning it was 38f so we swing the other way. Then back to the high 60, low 70's for the weekend. I would suggest adding some sort of control to the mix. No reason to run the fan 24/7 except maybe in late flower in the depths of summer heat to help keep tent temps under control. And when running a blower 24/7 it makes it a lot harder to control RH as your always pulling RH out of the tent. Good Luck and enjoy your vastly improved exhaust fan.
