Default Hand Pump for draining runoff...

I use this for draining runoff from my 19L pots. Makes it easier to get to all sections in the groom. My old one leaked so I assembled another. The key is buying a quality bulb.

i should buy one of those. i use a syringe to pull the runoff along a tube, then i bend the tube, remove the syringe and syphon the rest. it is definitely the long way of doing it, i just can't bring myself to pay for things when i have a free solution

For stuff that saves me time, I use sales techniques on myself.

Using this product will save you 5 minutes a day. That's 30 hours a year. Are you prepared to do 30 hours of work and only be paid the same amount that this product costs?

Why bother with A hand pump? Why not just get one of those little fishbowls elect pump and save the hand muscle?

I gave up a bit of height to have a runoff bucket under the garden tray.

I guess I could... but I like to keep my operation as simple as possible and not have to plug yet another thing into an outlet. My grows are small so hand pumping is not a biggie.

I made some diy Rhizo stands for a project that didn't happen. Only 4" tall and the runoff goes into a sandwich box. They'll get used if ever I really need some extra height.
