Yes, this is my second grow with Nirvana Northern Lights. I'm watching trics like a hawk but amber trics never seem to come. I plan to harvest in 1-2 weeks and fingers crossed I get amber on my buds this time. Using my loupe and a Nikon Camera, trics seem to be clear and cloudy at this point, mainly cloudy. I'm planning to go 70-75 days from 12/12

Hi all,

I'm an old timer that used to smoke back in the 80's and early 90's. Back when I smoked there was two types of weed, brown dirt weed in a manilla envelop, or Sinsemilla. It was different back then, nobody knew what a strain was, nobody cared, they just wanted to get high ! Weed smelled good back in those days , not like the stinky stuff you guys all love. I swear, I'd roll around in some of those old 80's sinse buds instead of wearing cologne. Its smelled so good ! The only way I can describe the smell is the way a dollar bill smells, if that makes sense.

Fast forwards to today. No offense to anyone here, but you all stink BAD ! You can seal this new stinky weed in 5 plastic bags and be smelled from 100 feet away. What's the deal with smelling like Pepe Le Peau anyway? Does everyone today like the smell of skunk or something?

Anyway, I'm old and out of touch so don't mind me, but I'm still after that sweet sinsemilla smell I remember from the day. I'm on my second attempt at growing Nirvana Northern Lights. Yes ! Northern Lights has that old school smell I remember. Life is good.

Welcome to the forum brother I had to wait about 15 years before they came out with sensemilia, All we had was brick weed or Colombian dirt weed. Once in a while we'd get some real Thai stick coming through that was kind of nice.
