    Default Autos outdoors

    Good evening folks

I am currently in the process of making a secret (shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh) growing space in my back garden it will get lots of sunshine which will be nice and will have screening to keep it out of sight from folk who may look over my fence when walking along the pavement.. so on that score am sorted. What i need to know is what compost folk use for autos outdoor and AND and, is it okay to start an auto off in a 3l air pot, veg inside till they are big enough to fend for themselves then straight into 15L airpot outside in the secret growing area (shhhhhhh).. I got a good idea when to plant them out which in my head is around mid to late May, maybe June even... so any help on the above will be much appreciated and it is a UK backyard so that needs to be taken into consideration when giving me advice as I will be fucked if I am going to El-Salvado or the likes to pick up a bag of compo, so lets nip that shit in the bud before things get out of hand, slippery slope and all that!

Now fellow UKers will know we are getting screwed big time with the energy cap rise and what I am thinking here is,, veg me plants indoors and start flowering and when nature hits 12/12 in late september, put them in the secret growing space to finish, anyone done this? I am wanting to get the most out of the natural sun/light etc as I can and maybe rely less on growing indoors so just an idea.

will leave this with you guys whilst I go and get shitfaced.

    cheers

Have you considered the smell? A screen won't block that, if you're next to a pavement. Also if you're concerned about power costs you might be better to grow outside in the hight of summer and finish indoors rather that the other way around.
Also forgot to add, to plant autos in their final pots from the beginning. And they don't need to be switched to 12/12.

am good for the smell, the area is some distance away from the actual fence it just folk walking along it can peek over into the garden, the grow will be on the other side and its a good 75Ft away,.. as for final pot from the beginning, I have airpots, and thinking, I can start them off now or soon indoors in my veg cupboard, in the 3.5l pot then simply put that pot into the 15L airport = no transplant stress, in my head i cant see what can go wrong but have to be careful as whats inside my head is at times not the same as reality.

I've heard of people potting up fabric pots, it might work with airports . You can start indoors, but they don't need to be switched to 12/12. So might as well take advantage of the summer sun, if there is any . Could be done by end of August.

Autos will start to flower any where from day15 to day 35ish. You don't want to be transplanting when
in flower. I would start them outside and do the whole grow outside. They will flower no matter how
many hours of sun you are getting.

A grow smell is far stronger than a spliff bud,you can smell it streets away.
