    Post Yellowing leaves

    Hello,
    Currently im running second grow and I have the same problem with yellowing of the leaves as the previous grow, some plants look better, some worse, I grow with organic soil and nutrients Biobizz.
    Depending on what I was looking for, it looks like a ph lockout/calmag deficiency/

    Light: 250W/400W HPS dual spectrum(40cm from canopy/16 inch)
    Tent: 100x100x200cm (3,2ftx3,2ft)
    Exh. fan: 280 m3/h
    Osc. fan: 2x Oscilating fan 8W

    Average temperature and humidity:
    Light on 27°C, 40% humidity
    Light off 22°C, 50% humidity

    Pot size 11L (3gallon)
    Substrate : Biobizz Light mix
    Nutrients: Biobizz Grow, Bloom(fertilization according to Biobizz schedule)

    Watering:
    Tap water EC: 0,25 ms/cm (125PPM)
    3x times a week
    Each plant get about 0,8L¨
    PH:
    I have calibrated ph meter and ph drops.
    When not add nutrients, reduced with Biobizz Ph minus(citric acid) to 6.2-6,5 PH
    When nutes added, 6,2-6,3 PH
    I tested Run off PH 6,3-6,5

    Hey DrTomato123, would you be able to show us a picture of the entire plant please?

    Going on the info you provided, it looks like you have soft water, are you giving any calcium or magnesium along with the Biobizz nutes?

    Looks like a classic sign of a magnesium def along with a possible touch of calcium def.

    Are you growing autos or photos?..the chart is quite feed heavy, especially so for autos, although they do not look overfed, just curious..

    I think you may have a lockout due to giving 0.8l water in 11l pots? Your grow medium must be very dry?

    But yeah you have pretty soft water. Add calmag to a EC of 0.3 or ish 250ppm

    I agree about the magnesium def.
    1tbsp of Epson salt(sold at your local pharmacy) dilated in a cup of hot water, then add it to 5ltrs of cold water, do this once at week 2,4,6 in flower.

    @Blue61
    Thanks, I will look at it.

    @IceCalibur's
    1. No i dont use any calmag
    2. Its photoperiod, more precisely, strain: CBD Eletta campana

    @V8
    I give them about 0.8 liters each, depending on the weight of the pot. But i can raise it.

    Yeah I'm gonna stick with my magnesium def, and now you've posted a pic of entire plant I don't think the calicum is required.

    Epsom salts as advised

    Hi growers,

    I would like to write a few words about how it turned out... Unfortunately, it turned out like the previous grow, I harvested 200g of dry matter. (400W HPS) On the recommendation, I sprayed epsom salt and also increased the watering volume, it seemed to help, but once the mid flower came, some of them had the same problems again. Interestingly, 2 of the 9 plants looked completely beautifully healthy from start to harvest.

    I made a mistake and solved the problems late, the yellowing of the leaves began to show slowly from the 2nd week of grow. So I decided to document the next round here on the forum from start to finish. From the clones again.
    But this time I opted for salt based fertilizers (Plagron, I saw some grow diaries and it looked decent), I'll try to see if this style suits me better. I read something about it, but I have a few questions:
    1. Optimal ph should be around 6-6.5? I read that it could be ranged from 5.5 to 6.5 but I don't want to believe it.
    2. The nutrient schedule states that the inlet water with an EC of 0.5 is calculated. My tap water has an EC of 0.2. Should I use CalMag and increase the EC to 0.5?
    3. Since it's a salt based fertilizer, I figured it was necessary to do at least a 20% run-off in each watering to avoid a salt buildup, right? I asked in the grow shop and I was told that the run-off is only done with coco.

    You'll want to continue the Epsom salt spray. I'm a firm believer in the stuff. It will not fix the damaged leaves but will keep it from happening on new growth.
