I bought a cheapish Mars hydro tent a while back and it has served me quite well however the sides do get sucked in with the air extraction.. Ive been told this doesn't happen with expensive tents so is it worth getting new one for that problem???

Tent sides getting sucked in doesn't have anything to do with how 'cheap' tents are honestly, although perhaps some cheaper tents may be prone to being more easily damaged?
It's more to do with your extraction and intake balance, decreasing your extraction rate or increasing your intake will reduce the amount the tent gains negative pressure, and that's what I would advise you do here, rather than buying a new tent
I do like negative pressure with the sides sucking in, however I don't want it to feel like the stitching at the sides are about to rip either lol, so maintain a good balance and of course with the environment inside your tent in mind

All my tents suck in, but I don't use A filter, so there might be A difference with or without filter. JMO

AC Infinity tents are as quality as I've seen, still get sucked in. Time to think about purchasing or building a High CFM kit!
Especially important for smaller tents where you need to utilize every square inch you possibly can. My small tent with a homemade, wooden dowel rod High CFM kit.
B1unt has a good looking High CFM build in his... oh god... In B1unt V he shows it off.
Cheers

any old scraps of wood or polypipe can be utilised to keep the sides out with a ziptie drilled thru at each end.
Re-useable zipties so it can be raised and lower with ease
I make mine into a t shape with a small piece actually pushing the tent out to give extra free space inside
Ill edit and whack up a pic in a sec
EDIT: Like this

Cheap fabric will flex more but regardless of that the effect is just more exaggerated due to your balance issue. You need more airflow into the tent.
