    They have 5 factorys in one City that I know of that assemble 90% of all the LED's made in the over all world, maybe more. Have you ever use An HPS/Ballast? They make and assemble all of them, and have been doing for decades.

    Im actually a big fan of the newly designed spider farmer lights, i dont think they’ll be considered ‘budget lights’ for much longer.

    I plan to start saving up some money for a nice light though, I feel that I have reached the potential of my $120 phlizon. I plan on getting either and HLG, ChilLed, or Timber.

    We also have to remember that this is an international forum. America gets first choice in my tools, then Germany and Japan. People of other countries do the same. You cant fault someone for buying a light from a certain country, especially when corporations from your country made the conscientious decision to outsource jobs there. Its the world we live in.

    If not can anyone recommend something for a 1.4m x 1.4m tent

    Big love
    I have posted quite a few times on this topic, so here is one of my posts from a different thread that I feel may help you here ;

    I think many of the modern LEDs perform very well, and it will inevitably come down to what features you want, after sales service/warranty etc and your budget.

    The best advice I can give you is to take a look around to see what our members use, don't be shy to ask questions, and form a list that you can look through that most suits you, what you want and how much you're willing to spend

    *HOT TIP* - LED's are capable of damaging your plants with too much light!..many growers were used to the old HID lighting and there is a learning curve with LEDs, I personally burnt my ladies when I used them, so check recommendations from the company you purchase from then start them lower, slowly increasing intensity as you go, checking for light stress and backing off if you need to.

    I've seen growers complaining about the LED's they are using burning their plants, but you have to use them correctly (as I say, all LEDs have the potential to burn plants), following the manufacturers guides is not always the way to go, which is similar to feed charts and such for nutes, since there is no 'one size fits all" solution. you need to start off lower, and build up that intensity in small increments.

    You could also use LUX meters although not perfectly accurate, can give you a rough idea as to where you're at..check Migro on youtube for information on what you can use as he has made calculations that will help you along the way.

    Of course if money is no object, then a PAR meter would be best.

    Let us know how you get on
