    Default New grow

    Hey guys

I've started a fresh batch of 3 autoflowers, 2plants are in a week of seedling slightly bigger one is will hit 2weeks on Monday, I'm curious if my seedlings are leggy or they are fine? Lamp is at 24" height on 50% strenght, if they are leggy shall drop the lamp cpl inches or just increase strenght of light? Cheers for help Click image for larger version.

I've found that keeping the light lower with less intensity helps to reduce stretching. Leggy is OK so long as it's healthy. You may need to provide some support if it starts leaning.

Funny you ask this, this grow I do small experimentation so I've used 3 different kind of pots, air pot, standard plastic and cotton one, as for soil there is two different kinds, one pot is with bio bizz all-mix, one is with 50% biobizz + 50% black magic soil and one pot is 100% black magic with perlite. On top of it on each plant I will use different nutes one will be biobizz one with advanced nutrients and one shogun+mix of other two, I kinda want to see what works best and if there will be any difference

Often I under fill the pots 3-4 inches, so as the seedling stretches I top the pot up with soil, all seedling stretch some more than other, seedling require low levels of light compared to mid veg/flower.

I'd say they don't have the worst stretch I've seen, but you might wanna get that light a little closer..

Sometimes seedlings can stretch when it's too hot, but I don't see that's the case here looking at your hygrometer.

So I'm a little bit shocked with my grow, especially with the tallest lady she ( orange sherbet) is just week ahead of the other two plants but she just exploded in grow at least for me, I'm a little bit scared that the other won't keep up with her and it will get messed up with light distances from canopies, on top of it I wanted to gently lst them but I'm worried now that she is too tall to start messing with her and I'm worried if I start lst other two ( purple punch, strawberry banana) they will be way to low from light compared to big sister. I wanted to keep everything quite simple for my experiment so didn't wanted to do any topping either.

Is the 3.5week old bigger plant to tall for trying to lst her? And if it's is there any guide how to do it? Cause I don't feel I have enough knowledge.

Other two plants are 2.5week old and I'm curious will they explode in size same as the orange sherbet?

Just FYI guys orange sherbet is in bio bizz all soil + magic soil mix on bio bizz nutes (so far only grow)

Front plant is 100% bio bizz soil and advanced nutrients
Left plant is 100% black magic soil + shogun katana + grow bio bizz nutes so far

Light is on 75% and height is 18" from tallest plant then 21" from smaller ones.

Any tips advices and hints how to keep going with my grow is welcome cause I'm still learning

    Lookes rly good man!

Start by tying them down to one side. Like this:

And when new growth start to happen you tie those down aswell.

Take a look at this video. There are tons of ways to train your plant but look at the video from 1 minute. Bend and secure.

    Or this

If the stems are rly stiff you can massage then gently inbetween your fingers just a little so its softens up!
