    Default Weed allergies

In another thread I saw people we’re talking about getting headaches from a runtZ strain and then other people said they didn’t have weed allergies. I’ve noticed I’ve had some ups and downs with some strains I’ve tried. Never heard the term allergies but I’ve told my wife that it feels like my throat closes up some days I usually have like a cough drop in my mouth.

I have read that some people have a weed allergy. I believe it usually presents as irritable bowl syndrom but headaches or throat issues could also be an allergic reaction. I get headaches from Runtz and a few others that i cannot recall right now. Most strains i am fine.

Ken's GDP is my favorite night-time smoke and Gorilla Glue #4 or Green Crack both great for the daytime. I never have any side effects from these 3.

Although rare I'll come across a strain every now and then that will end in a headache. Most of the time I use cannabis to relief a headache.
If I can I'll purchase a distillate vape cartridge of a new strain before I spend the resources and time growing it.

Wearing a mask and safely glasses has helped me tremendously...otherwise it's like having a bad pollen allergy for 2 days.

Yeah I had some things but I don’t know if it’s because of the cones that I use cause I use like the raw un bleached cones and then I buy the zigzag bleach combs that might also have something to do with it. I smoked a fatty of jungle cake the other day in about 10 minutes later my sinuses drained I’ve never had that happen to me before granted I’m still a rookie.

I've never heard of an allergy to weed. It's more of a side effect, a peculiarity of the body or the quality of the weed. It's hardly an allergy. If there is such an allergy, however, I would not want to have one.

Some strains will increase blood flow to your brain and some will decrease blood flow. It's more likely to be an indica that increases blood flow and a sativa that decreases blood flow. The change in blood flow can easily cause headaches or relieve headaches depending on what you're using.

I've had migraine headaches most of my life and they are chronic which requires at least 10 a month to diagnose. I used to take different migraine meds depending upon the type of migraine. I used to have to choose between those that increase blood flow or decrease and got pretty good at figuring out which type of headache I had.

Since I started smoking weed my migraines have simply gone away over the years. I don't have any kind of headaches anymore.

There is a rare form of allergy to weed and you can develop it no matter how much weed you smoked in your life. I can't remember all the symptoms but it makes a person nauseous and sick and the only way to get any relief is to take a shower.
