    I was gonna start a thread on this but I may aswell ask the question here.
    Does anyone refrigerate their seeds?I know some seedbanks do.
    Do any of you guys refrigerate?

    Yes, my seeds are always in the fridge and I do believe it helps with germination and seed longevity

    I make sure to keep them properly sealed, in ziplock bags.

    Cheers both, they have always been stashed in the shed,mostly chilly lol but deffo gonna have a place in the cd case in fridge lol.

    I think you’re right. I also think i’ll copy you and do the same. I either read or saw somewhere that a lot of seeds (different plants) will not germinate unless they were exposed to a cold period of two weeks or more. It was probably on here that i read that lol

    Yep spot on Stokes, it's been documented that certain seeds germinate better this way..(cold to warm/hot), and it's to do with how it all works in nature, when the seeds hit the ground, during cold weather the 'reaction' to germinate can't take place as they would die, so once spring begins and the weather starts getting warmer, that reaction bursts into life..and again in nature, at just the perfect time. So the fridge to germination teqnique works really well in my experience..been doing it for over 10 years with very good results

    The bonus is that they generally 'keep' longer too
