    Hey ice can you give a bit more info on the fluctuations.

    I think I might have a similar problem. I raised pH from 5.8-6.0 would this be considered a fluctuation enough to hinder a plant? Would you say for instance go from 5.8-5.9-6.0 over the course of a week or so?

    Neither, both of those fluctuations are perfectly normal and can be beneficial, since you're allowing the PH to drift a little more into ideal zones for multiple elements

    When I was speaking about PH fluctuations and the damage it can cause, I was referring more to do with 'extreme' fluctuations, where the PH is in the ideal range and then swings wildly outside of what the plant can absorb.. this can unsettle things and in my experience can cause damage.
