Good luck man, I'm glad you were able to salvage the situation.

How long do you guys think until harvest? I know this is impatient but I was expecting a 72-day yield and my tick bill for smoke is getting silly lol.
Most plants finish flower in 8 weeks give or take depending on the strain. Good luck!
Quick update. The buds are coming on and are looking like they'll be ready soon. However, there's loads of small ones nearer the bottom there loads of underdeveloped buddage.
I'm thinking of harvesting this in two. Chop the top off to allow light to get to the bottom. Would I flush, chop grow, flush? Or keep her on food until its all harvested?
Oh, is this foil stuff any good? I'll sort it out properly if it's worth it.
Edit: not sure where I can safely upload a video, but youbknow what I mean lol.
So here's a controversial take that's going to get me a lot of heat from some on this forum.
I was watching a video from a commercial grower a few weeks ago (wish I could remember which) and his experience was that light getting to buds is a complete red herring. He stated he had tested in his commercial setting grows where he'd done comparisons of the same strains under the same conditions and on some removed leaves, exposed bud sites to light and the like and on others done almost nothing and in his testing it made absolutely zero difference. He expereinced no change in yield whether the buds were hidden or not so for his commercial grows, he didn't bother exposing bud sites.
It makes intuitive sense to do it and expect it to work but often things that seem to make sense often don't. While many on here (and elsewhere) will disagree and swear it absolutely does make a difference, other than anecdotal rhetoric where does the clear evidence come from that it makes any difference?
As I said, controversial and contentious but hey, I like to live dangerously
As for what to do. If it were me, harvest what you can, throw the rest out and start again with your new found knowledge and experience. You've done miracles getting this plant to where you have but there's a point of diminishing returns. Why spend another month or more trying to squeeze the last dregs out of a plant that's had it hard already. Cut your losses, start a new grow and build upon what you learned this time. You'll probably get 5* the yield for half the effort on a new grow.
