I agree with you that there is no need for starvation given how advanced we are as a species, but if we’re gonna fix shit it needs to be collective. Musk's SolarCity reported in 2015 that it had received $497.5 million in direct grants from the US Treasury Department. Thats just 1 grant. Elon got over 4 billion us dollars
