    Most guys cut the top off, some keep it for a humidity dome while they're sprouting. Then there's always some character that has to turn the thing on its side and grow out of it that way. It's really up to you

    Funny, I don't even remember being in the competition last year. But I haven't grown in Cocoa in several years so it was definitely soil.
