Ice, I don't even know what that is. Looks like fancy people food to me Just kidding, looks like something my olive complected Italiano wife would dig for sure! Grape leaf wrapped (x)? Throw me a bone, seriously..

Hey Domo, they are indeed a greek/turkish cuisine as Vlad rightly pointed out, they're usually wrapped around rice and minced beef, with lots of lemon, oilve oil and a dash of salt and pepper..however you can leave out the minced meat and just wrap them around rice, both versions boiled in water.

They're delicious and I would absolutely recommend giving them a go!

    Very nice man
Are Concord the variety that's used to make grape flavoured things?
Because in the UK grape flavour is pretty rare, and tastes nothing like the grapes we know.

Yep...Concord Grapes are used in many products because of their unique sweet flavor. WELCH'S GRAPE JELLY uses Concord grapes.

My plan today is to lay the vines onto the arbor top and see where the branches lay naturally. Select pruning and training will come a later. I'm lucky I have a friend as a mentor whose father had a small vineyard.
Will throw up a pic later if the rain holds off.

The weather cooperated so I draped the two vines over the arbor. A little tuck here, a little pull there and a couple of twist wires and thar she be.

I was interested to see if there was any use for vine sap, maybe like willow water for rooting cuttings, unfortunately not, but apparently you have quite a potent anti inflammatory and antiseptic agent right there.

Totally crazy, but I have said this on a number of occasions to myself and others, "contemplate the universe".. In my mind a lot have so much to say, but listen not nearly enough (guilty but cognizent). So much is said in three words.

    Indeed.. Indeed it does Blue!

mpsj, I can't wait to see it full of leaves and bearing fruit! I may pick your brain at some point down the road if you don't mind.

Hopefully these early clusters will produce some grapes this fall.
