Any Tapo users using them whilst growing photos

Didn’t know where to ask but I’ve been vegging a photo for a bit now (haven’t started a diary yet as most of the plants go to shit lol) anyway I’m thinking when I flip it is my Tapo c200 gonna cause problems with its led or night vision, it’s my fist photoperiod and Upto now I think it’s going well but don’t want to screw it up down to something stupid, not sure if I could just put some tape over it or what, any help is appreciated thanks peeps

Hey scorp,

I have read (mixed reports) that the cameras IR doesn't affect the plants, more solid reports that the indicator LED may though. I use Wyze cams, so don't know if it applies, but probably best if you turn off the IR, tape the indicator LED, and just observe during waking hours or under green light. Nothing concrete here, just shooting from the hip.
