Of interest, was it a non organic grow?

Yeah, was nothing to write home about, but, like I said, it worked

Non organic. GH Micro and Bloom.

Water curing makes the weed bland. A good option for bad tasting weed and a waste with tasty bud.

I'll be water curing trim/larf for my next batch of cannabutter.

I wonder if the nutes make a difference to the water smell?

But, yeah, bland is the word I would choose too

It could be the nutes. There was almost 10L of bud in a builders bucket so the quantity may have played a part.

This lot have been getting Mega Crop. Which is kinda sorta organic. I'll be water curing the trim/larf, maybe there will be a difference in odour.

Not that many trics lost with water curing if you're careful. As well as being bland, it weighs ~25% less due to the vegetable matter removed, so will be a stronger smoke. No bag appeal, it looks lousy. That shouldn't be a problem for percy growers.

I tried water curing with auto buds that dried to fast and it didn't work. idk why the bud was still harsh.

Ah! Your problem was that you dried them & then water cured them, it doesn't really work well doing that You really need them fresh cut/trimmed & then into the water
