Bud rot

Just seeing if anyone thinks this bud is getting bud rot. Just looks a bit weird at the bottom of the bud the rest of the plant looks fine

Hard to say fro sure from the pic. Is it really moist if you stick a finger in it?

Does it have a bad smell?

looks like the dreaded grot to me,
I would very carefully cut the infected site as well as a few extra centimeters around it off your buds.

Am in the last week now is it best cutting them down early so it doesn't spread or just cut the bud off an hope it doesn't spread

Its up to you, I would just cut away the infected area, and scour my plants for any more possible sites of infection.

I'd at least chop the affected cola or it will rapidly spread

pull the leave near the bud rot, if the leaf slides out its bud rot and the leaves will turn yellow and dry over time near the infected area.

The cause is nearly always high humidity(lights out) or low airflow, always effects the largest cola's first
