Kicking this one off with a Barney's Farm Laughing Buddha photo.(Jamaican x Thai iirc). Will be in my promix blend, possibly a mix of organic DtE and synthetic nutes. Would like to keep it organic but if time comes and I need quick delivery I will supplement.

Not doing too bad. Sister in law had to water while we were away, didn’t kill her!
    Will be transplanting Friday

Transplanted into a 5 gallon pot filled with FFOF. Think I waited too long and she got hungry. I believe my venture with promix will be coming to an end. I’m not sure if it has something to do with the buffering or the super low ph issues I’ve read about, but it causes awful blotches on leaves which has nearly ruined my popesicle grow. I have tried slurry tests, feeding, and flushing. Nothing has worked. Maybe I need a better ph pen.

My next grows will be in either FFOF or some form of coco

I have had my Milwaukee PH 55 for about 3 years now and it is still holding within 0.1 of true. I have been through a lot of pens. Keeping the pen in a cup with PH storage solution seams to help maintain longevity and turning off and rinsing between readings appears to help with accuracy. Cheers mate.
Edit. You want an ec of 0.3 before reading. Low ec does not have enough conductivity to measure ph accurately with a pen.

Had no idea Milwaukee made a pen. I wonder who manufactures them for milwaukee ? I was thinking a bluelab, hear good things and want to have a good reliable pen when I do finally try coco

I will try to store the new one in solution as you mentioned. The only form of preservation I did was to remove the battery lol. Thanks

Thanks buddy. Trained her a little bit and discovered I have something gnawing on a couple leaves. Hopefully I didn't bring anything in from my outdoor plants, if so I hope it stays isolated
