Default Unanswered: photoperiod too tall need some advice please

It's my first photo and i was going to try to manifold and train it to stay small but when it came to it i didn't want to fuck it up, and now it's stretched i think or do they normally go that big, if it is my fault it's because i've had an auto in there with her and have had to turn my light to the lowest setting to stop it burning up the auto, but now the photo is a few inches from the light as you can see and i don't know the best thing to do as i can probably get her about a foot more room if i go into the top part of the drobe but from what i hear they go alot bigger when their flipped so i'm shitting it now, their still in veg and are on week 12 so could i cut them down quite a bit and top them or something to keep them low, i was thinking about lollipopping it as well but i've never done that, any help is appreciated thanks, meant to say the carbon filter was up higher and i lowered it to raise the light higher

Might have to look at doing some supercropping

Well i always go with the theory they can double in size during stretch so top mine and trim the life out of them up until desired size give them a few days to recover then flip 12/12.

I've done super cropping on the odd tall branch to keep them uniform but I've never tried to super crop a whole plant to get the canopy hight down.

    Get the scissors out!

I'd say supercrop it instead of tryin to scrog it. By the time it's stretched after flip it's gonna get bushy as fuck. I'd chop the lower crap off, leave 4-5 sets of branches and defol then lit it recover before flip

I agree with the super cropping. You could also save several inches by removing your pulleys and looping your light hangers directly to your eye Screws from the ceiling. Would not recommend doing that unless you have a fan blowing over the top of it or hopefully your driver is removable, and you can possibly mount that on the wall

I know she is an auto but why don't you top her. You are not suppose to top autos late in veg because you will suffer stunted growth. In your case that's no problem.

You sure it is an auto? 12 week veg sounds alot?
