Default Unanswered: When is the official “Start of flower period”

In your basic 12-13 week full cycle using clones/babies

When do you start the official counting of weeks of flowering?

I start “Week 1” after I flip them to 12/12 but I am hearing it should be from after I flip them and ONLY when I start to see the little heads appearing on them all.

    Cheers fellas

Ah! Changing nutes to flowering nutes is a different question, with a different answer lol

I tend to wait until the end of stretch before change as the veg nutes have a higher N content that is needed during stretch

Thanks for the help fellas, so do I wait until ALL the plants have the white hairs or just the majority and then the weeks of flower begin on my calendar?

    To recap,

    Flowering (day 1) is:-

With autos, when you see the first pistle (White hairs) - it may be different days on the plants, if there are more than one... but take an average
With Photos, the first day you 'flip' them to 12/12

Change to flowering nutes after the plants have stopped stretching

    ...and ignore breeders time frames
