Hey Guys! I have a little question.

Basically I fed them twice and watered them twice so far. Never had any runoff. Today I wanted to see some runoff so a watered them with like 22L for the whole tent at these levels -PH: 5.95 and -PPM: 0.

    Granddaddy purple
    Gelato
    Maui Wowi

The run off levels came to being:
    -PH: 5.48
    -PPM: 1890

Is this okay? Should I Flush it out maybe with some PH leveled water of like 6.5??? Hopefully I’m just tripping.

    Thanks everyone!

Is this a coco grow? If not, what do you actually think you are measuring?

It’s a soil grow, I’m using peat moss and Advanced Nutrients.

I think it could be everything that was locked in the pot because it never had a run off before and it finally got to let it all out. But I’m not very knowledgeable in this specific think.. like I never measured my run off before so i have no idea what to think…

Measuring run off in soil, IMHO, is a pointless exercise...

In coco, it can give you an idea of things... but, even then, it's more a desperation measure

Fine, I'll say it. You gotta get some trays for your pots man.

No good having muddy water sitting on your tent floor like that.

    Cheers. Keep em green.

    LOL thats just insulting

I'm still learning and measuring them is invaluable to me in coco when I'm not sure what I'm doing. Another few grows I might start to wean myself off it once I have confidence I'm not going to kill them.

That said, I wouldn't bother in soil either...

My understanding is that you cannot accuratly measure the PH of water with a zero ppm. There needs to be some ppm for the conductivity required to check ph.

Personally, as a soil grower, i expect ph out and ph in to both be in the 6.0-6.2 range. 5.9 on runoff would not concern me but at 5.8 i want to get it back up again.

On my current grow i have 3 healthy plants with a runoff ph of 5.9 and 1 unhealthy plant with a runoff ph of 5.1
