So don’t cut off any of these large drooping leaves at the bottom and around the plant, correct??

Correct. They are solar panels. Give more water and they will stop drooping and point upright.

I think my auto flowering plant is in the first week or so of the stretch. I don’t have a clue of what to do.
I know that I do not want it to grow as tall as it seems to be doing. It looks like it is getting stringy.
There does seem to be some small buds starting to show.
Most of the advice I have read is after the fact.
    PLEASE help

Leggy means you need more light. Depending on the light you are using it could be increasing light intensity, lowering the light closer to the plants or raising the plants closer to the light.

It seems that I have the light right on top of the plant which doesn’t seem right

Sounds like your light is lacking in both intensity and spectrum.

It is a Roleadro 1000. V8 already gave me the rundown. It is giving me about 200 watts I think. And it is advertised as a full spectrum.
Did I mention this is my first grow and being a complete newb
