Cannabutter using THC crystal

I have collected 3 grammes of THC crystal and i am looking to convert it into cannabutter so i may use it for a fruit cake recipe. the recipe uses 200 grammes of butter and the whole cakes weighs in at 1.5kg.

My question is how much of the 3g of thc crystal should i mix with the butter. I don’t want the cake to make you really stoned just medium stoned as i will be handing it out to people who do not eat/smoke cannabis. I know that the effects can be super strong when cooking with cannabis and i don’t want to cause anyone to freak out.

Use all of the 3g of thc crystal in 250g of butter. After losses you should have about 200g of cannabutter.

A 1500g cake is how many servings? Say 20. 75g of cake contains 10g of butter. Strictly in the name of science, consume 10g of the cannabutter. That's equivalent to one serving of cake. If you aren't freaked out within 45 minutes, it's good to go. If it is too strong, mix 100g of cannabutter with 100g of regular butter to make the cake. If it's on the weak side, tell your friends to eat more slices of cake.

Yes but how is it collected? If it 100% dry hash heads that are collected or at the bottum of your grinder? Both can be from good quality weed but that does not matter if the shifting of the weed is done poorly.

I've done this. Made edibles for an interested adult or few. I made sure to be the test case before giving them away.
My tolerance being higher, I was hoping to just barely feel the effects. If it got me full stoned, that'd almost certainly mean a bad time for those that had 0 tolerance.

Also, I'd recommend to them not to take edibles on a completely empty stomach.

It's nigh impossible to gauge the strength of your hash without lab equipment. As V8 mentioned, collection methods will affect this as much as the strength of your flower... That's why I think it's always best to try before sharing.
